Fahd Derkaoui Hassani

Doctor Fahd DERKAOUI HASSANI is an associate professor of neurosurgery at Abulcasis International university of health sciences in Rabat, Morocco and Consultant Neurosurgeon and Professor at the Department of Neurosurgery, Cheikh Zaid International University Hospital. He had his PhD on Neuro-oncology, functional Neurosurgery and Radiosurgery. He is currently coordinator of the Stereotactic neurosurgery Diploma at Abulcasis International University of Health Sciences and Director of Abulcasis Neurosurgical Symposium, annual meeting of neurosurgery. Dr Derkaoui is mostly interested in Spine Surgery, MISS, Skull base Surgery, Stereotactic and functional Neurosurgery, IONM, Glioma Surgery, Education, Simulation in neurosurgery, Research and Innovation. Dr Derkaoui had organized many national and international meeting, conferences, workshops and courses and published 20 papers and one chapiter. He is currently Chairman of the Atos De Sousa Award (YNS Award) of the world federation of neurological societies WFNS, Vice President of the Moroccan Society of Neurosurgery, Vice president of the continental Association of African neurosurgical societies, Board Member of the Middle East Spine Society and reviewers of many international journals.
