Suat Canbay

I was born in Ankara, Türkiye, in 1962. I completed my medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and my residency in neurosurgery at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine.

I worked at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital from 2001 to 2017 and at Yüksek İhtisas University in Ankara from 2018 to 2021. I became an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery in 2014 and a Professor of Neurosurgery in 2019. Since 2017, I have worked in private practice and at Medical Park Ankara Hospital in Batıkent.

My main clinical interest is spine surgery, with a particular focus on tumors of the spine and spinal cord.
